I have no dog in this NBA fight (except the Bucks. GO BUCKS!!!) and that was pure joy to watch. I loved how between bounce two and five on the rim, the arena was motionless and quiet. Then the ball finally goes in. Pandemonium

...in the first quarter.
Hope Kawhi stays put, Irving flees Boston, Ainge moves the Hayward contract, and the East maintains its competitive Gang of Four for a little while.
The way things are going, overall relevancy momentum is shifting eastward, which is a welcome change.

Do you think Ainge will move Hayward? I'm in agreement with you that it's the right thing to do as having both Tatum and Hayward makes zero sense, but the Celtics have a history of loving big white guys on their roster.
Secondly, I'd like to see Kawhi stay put as well but have my doubts. The Raptors have done everything they can so far to keep him, and he has certainly shone on a team otherwise loaded with role players. But he is the best 2 way player currently in the league (welcome soon, Zion and RJ) and pretty much on par with KD as far as players a franchise would give anything for, meaning he can go anywhere he wants.

Move him for what? His contract is an albatross until he proves he can play again.

And of being incredibly progressive vis-a-vis their league and the city, so I'm not sure what Greg Stiemsma or Aron Baynes presence would prove.
That Kawhi shot and all the still photos are definitely Why We Watch (even if I went to bed with a cold).
