For want of a better event to watch on the TV while fixing dinner yesterday (strip sirloin, fingerling potatoes, green beans, and an inexpensive but decent pinot noir), I turned to the agility competition at the Westminster. For me it was just a noise source, but my wife came in and started watching. It was not long before she was cheering for the dogs. Some people are fans of anything competitive, but in her case she just loves animals.
Cheech and Chong Let's hope that a Bichon named Dave is not entered. To hear "Dave's not here, man" might be a bit much.

I'm lovin' your dinner menu, Howard.
I'm still stuck on the fava beans and nice chianti. Old habits are hard to break.

Well, you have to finish up all the leftovers before the next census in 2020!

I think I can handle it. I've got a chest freezer.
In Charlottesville, there's a place that's been there for many decades called Ole Virginia Fried Chicken (Lion I. is probably familiar with it).
Their slogan is: "You'll Hate To Throw The Bones Away"

I want a NC Apple Ugly. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I'll just take an extra beta blocker and call it even.

All hail the start of the 2019 Westminster Dog Show - the big one - in NYC.
This year, a new added attraction will be celebrity judges for the various breeds and categories.
Judging the Bichon Frise breed will be Cheech and Chong.
They will host a meet and greet at their hospitality tent after the judging, with refreshments provided by the importers of Pouilly Fuisse and other fine wines.
