Buff has done that a few times during these playoffs. The interesting thing is he is always playing peace keeper and pulling guys out of the scrum rather than creating one.

When Brighton told me I was being released, it was a bitter pill to swallow is Liam Rosenior's nicely-told post about learning he was cut by Brighton.

Dustin Byfuglien is a big strong man.
I had to rewind that on the DVR and watch it a few times when it happened. Then I had to yell to my wife and son, neither of whom is particularly a hockey fan, to come in and watch it a few times with me. I explained that Byfuglien is 6'5", and every bit as wide as he is tall, and then showed them Deadspin's highlights of Byfuglien demolishing those who dare hit him. It kind of backfired on me, as my family, all of whom live in Nevada, are now all cheering for the Jets. But that's ok, I suppose (I'm still a Sharks fan).

Man, I can't even handle my groceries the way that Byfuglien took charge of those two dudes.
I'd be pleased to see the Jets and Lightning in the Cup final. We already have enough of a Las Vegas / Washington vibe wafting through daily life at the moment.
