The members of SportsShooter, a Web community of sports photographers, run down the list of pros they've pissed off. Lou Pinella to a photographer shooting into the Devil Rays dugout from the well: "Get that fucking camera out of my fucking dugout and my fucking face. The fucking game is out there, not fucking in here. And I am not fucking kidding."

I brought a friend to Patriots training camp with me about 10 years ago and while I was on one side of the field shooting drills, I hear 1st year coach Bill Parcells screaming at his security guys to clear this g*ddamn pgotographer out of his way and keep him the hell off the field. As I looked closer, there was my friend running in the opposire direction with Parcells pointing at him threatening to kick his ass if he got in the way again. When I finally got to hear my friends version of the event, he explained that while looking through the cameras viewfinder, he wanted to get a little closer and kept walking forward until he got the shot he wanted, unfortunately he never thought to keep his non-shooting eye open and actually walked right into Parecells. I guess I should have given him a quick lesson on how to use a zoom lens.......Oh well, it makes for a good Tuna story...... heh, that's a good one. I bet most of these are true, but you never can tell on a web message board. Some of them may be a little bit, erm, embellished.

Sportsshooter is indeed an awesome place to visit not just for the comments and stories from pro sports photographers but also the occasional "hidden galleries" some of them post. Hopefully they'll continue to keep it free to read and not make the discussion board password-protected.
