Incredible ending for today's T20 World Cup. West Indies needed 19 runs for the final over and you'll never guess what Carlos Brathwaite did.

That is some David Freese-level stuff right there.

You can't compare it to Freese unless there's a Nelson Cruz out there jumping too early and sticking his arm towards the ball like a T Rex.

Incredible ending for today's T20 World Cup.

Just shared this with my cousin in Trinidad who is quite excited about it. His father, my uncle, was a pretty fair pace bowler on Barbados. There has been some controversy over Brathwaite and others not wishing to play test cricket for West Indies because of money and a variety of other things, but I guess the limited overs game at the World Cup level suits them better.

I'm English by birth, but I hate the ECB (and the RFU, but that's for another time), so I enjoyed that.

England's failure to win a world cricket title is now one of the great stories in sport. Long may it continue.

Police have not said what her blood alcohol level was, but she appears extremely glassy eyed in her mug shot.

I hate that statement. You also get that glassy-eyed look if you were crying, and considering what had just happened to her, that wouldn't be all that surprising.

That said, she's an idiot.

How did the England bowler just serve up four balls in a row! like that?! I knew the outcome but when I saw West Indies needed 19 from seven I was wondering if I my memory was working.

Stokes wanted to bowl the last over, apparently. Mike Selvey is a first class ECB sycophant, but he generally has access to the England dressing room, and wrote this piece.
