As a Jays fan, I don't think getting knocked out of the ALCS is ever going to feel good, but this ending had everything you could hope for as a fan.
- the fan favourite amazing moment (Bautista with 2HR)
- the comeback
- great defensive play (Revere's bloody catch)
- a chance to tie/win the game
- the signature moment you can point to and say "We wuz robbed!" (the 2nd "home run" by the Royals)
- the conspiracy moment
In the end, the Royals won because they made a great play (Cain scoring on the single), and the Jays got beat (two strikeouts with a man on third in the 9th inning).
It was a hell of a year as a Jays fan, and we'll still have the thrill of "The Bat Flip Heard 'Round the World".

You are more sanguine about this than I was the day after the Rangers knockout.
The Jays did give you a cool story and a legendary performance by Bautista. Now you just gotta extend that contract beyond 2016.
I like your narrative better than what we got from Texas, where the loss featured a complete defensive breakdown and a squandered 2-0 series lead.
This has been a great playoffs so far. I watched MLB Network for another three hours after the game last night while I was working on a book, just to drag out the enjoyment a little longer.

NFL x NBA uniform mashups. I always enjoy checking out this type of conceptual design work. Some of the unis are pretty cool. Some of the model athletes have no business being featured.
