NFL Source: 'No Doubt' Brady Will Sit 4 Games This Season: An NFL source told WFAN radio host Craig Carton "there’s no doubt in his mind" that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will serve a four-game suspension this season over DeflateGate after the league's court appeal is heard. The source was not named, but it rhymes with Codger Whosmell.
Saw this on Twitter and seems like Carton's sources are about as quality as you'd expect:
This "source" doesn't make sense. NFL isn't seeking expedited review of Brady case. Appeal won't be heard till 2016. https://t.co/mVStxzmywy Michael McCann (@McCannSportsLaw) September 25, 2015
Even the league doesn't think this.

Some additional thoughts from McCann in SI on the risks of the league's appeal.

Nobody puts Brady in a corner.

The NFL asked the courts for an expedited appeal today.

Sheesh... if you didn't already think this was a witch hunt with no goal but for the league to blatantly attempt to sabotage one specific team's entire season...
Now the question you should ask yourself is: why would any self-respecting journalists keep using these NFL sources that are either obvious NFL propaganda or outright false, or both?

Expedite the hearing today, for goodness sakes, so Brady can sit against the Jags this Sunday.
And then sit again against the Romo-less, Dez-less, and Hardy-less Cowboys, and the following week against the Luck-forsaken Colts.
After that, we'll take a read option for game 4 and break the consecutive schedule. Instead of targeting the Jets on Oct. 25, we'll check down to the Washington football team on Nov. 8.
Even if the Colts were currently competent, the league would absolutely not want Brady to compete against them, because he's been totally Tomageddon since being forced to start using properly inflated footballs at halftime of the AFC title game.
