Bartolo Colon is a national/international treasure.

This is the moment when I figured out that Bartolo Colon is the apotheosis of humankind: He's reached the point where the less he gives a shit, the more we love him. That's where I want to live.

In case anyone was curious...

What happens when 22 defensive ends play against 22 quarterbacks in Madden 16?

More gold from Jon Bois.

Teddy Bridgewater had two shots to throw a hail mary from midfield at the end of the first half last night. The first one bounced at the 20-yard-line nowhere near a player on either team and the other was thrown short for a pointless 30-yard completion.

Is there an arm strength issue I don't know about? I'd call the passes Tebowesque, but Tebow completed a bomb 50 yards in the air in the preseason.

I believe Bridgewater's arm strength was considered to be average or slightly below-average coming out of Louisville, but that teams thought he could make almost all throws an NFL quarterback will have to make.

I recall in a Broncos game some time in the past couple of years that Denver brought in its backup QB (Osweiler) for Manning to throw an end-of-half hail mary.

My Cassel is gone and my Bridgewater hath fallen short.

What shall I tell Milady?

O, I am left to Ponder the cruel prospect of a lesser station.

In my dreams, Cardale, thou art my trebuchet.

But for your allegiance, alas, there will be many rivals.

Ever bet a six-pack on the game?

Whenever an NFL team's home game looks like a road game in the stands, it's viewed as a statement against the home team, like in this anti-Washington rant on Deadspin.

But it's happening more across the league. I'm wondering if there's more going on, like a lot more fans adopting teams without regards to geography. It's not like you have to live around Miami to see every Dolphins game. I can be as much of a Cowboys fan in Florida as I was in Dallas 20 years ago. Probably more, since the Internet is a medium that feeds every niche interest.

Yerfatma, was that the play Ramos hurt his shoulder on?

Sounds like it.
