The Eagles have released Tim Tebow.

With ironmen like Bradford and Sanchez on the team, I give it to week four before he's back in Philadelphia.

Shit. What third-string quarterback am I going to irrationally root for now?

Meanwhile, England need a win today against mighty San Marino to guarantee they'll be at the 2016 European Nations Championship.

They're currently leading 2-0 thanks to a penalty from Rooney and an own goal. Ian-terestingly, Rooney's goal made him England's joint all-time leading scorer with 49, (alongside Bobby Charlton), and then the own goal was also the 49th in England's history.

So Rooney, Charlton and (OG) are now all tied for the lead.

If the Eagles were still playing at Veterans Stadium, Bradford would get hurt during the coin toss.

If they're cutting Tebow I wonder why they traded Matt Barkley.

In the wake of Judge Berman's ruling, Goodell has decided not to attend the marquee Steelers-Patriots season opener on Thursday night.

He was going to attend if Berman had ruled in favor of the league?

He was presumably going to sit in the owner's box as a guest of the Krafts. Cozy.

This will be seen as a missed opportunity in some quarters. Ronda Rousey was planning to ride down in the service elevator with the commissioner after the game.

Hilarious play by Colon, but how slow is Justin Bour? He was moving down the line like glaciation.

Pulling Rooney in that San Marino game was unexpected. I figured he would break the all-time goal in that weird mountain enclave.
