Panthers Win in NHL Record 20-Round Shootout: The Florida Panthers defeated the Washington Capitols in an epic, record-setting shootout that went 20 rounds Tuesday night. Five times the Panthers needed a goal to extend the shootout and got it. The last was by Dylan Olsen, a rookie defenseman who said "I really only have one or two moves." In round 20, after Alex Ovechkin missed, Nick Bjugstad scored the winner.
The full shootout:
I knew something special must have happened, because ESPN gave the NHL 35 seconds of coverage on yesterday morning's SportCenter.
If I recall, it was sandwiched in between 7 minutes relating to what Lebron James had for lunch and 24 minutes of Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless arguing about whether that lunch was appropriate.

Okay, so they had to cycle through their roster again. I was stunned for a second that Ovechkin would be that far down the depth chart for shootout.
