The economics of Panini stickers.

The latent obsessive-compulsive-collecting-completist side of me (which hasn't been triggered since my 20s and hockey/baseball/comic cards) just twinged in the back of my brain.

Just for curiosity sake, are these books/stickers for sale in North America?

Yep. I saw them at Walgreens the other day.

The lead-up to tonight's Scotland-Nigeria friendly match was accompanied by reports of potential match-fixing.

This just happened. (The goal was disallowed, but still...)

It was 12 years ago tonight that the Hurricanes beat the Leafs in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. (RIP Josef Vasicek.)

It was eight years ago tonight that Corey Stillman scored a game winner over the Sabres.

*sigh* I really hope that Ron Francis can put a playoff team together in Raleigh.

Guess they weren't trying to fix a Scotland win.

So Nigeria had two own goals, one disallowed?

That settles it. I am not depositing the money transfer as requested into the bank account of the prince from Lagos who has been emailing me.

The Nigerian keeper could have played on Boise State's 2007 Fiesta Bowl team.
