Greg Inglis has scored some fantastic tries in his Rugby League career, but probably none better than this effort from last week.

I don't know rugby, but that was pretty impressive. The overhead shot at the end of the clip shows that the officials also did an admirable job of keeping pace while the defenders were being shed all the way down the field.

Wow. That is a cursed playoff series.

Jesus! I got exhausted just watching that.
From an American football fan: didn't his knee touch the ground before getting into the endzone? That's not down in rugby?

I think he's down when his ball-carrying arm hits the ground, his forward progress is stopped while standing or the referee yells "held."

The "other" Donald might be wise to announce his intention to sell the Clippers in advance of today's Sterling-Silver verdict.

If they're worth 600 million at the most to a hedge fund hotshot, Earvin Johnson will pay 700. You hold an asset for 33 years and sell it for 55 times what you paid for it - that's fairly decent math.

That was quick..

Either brilliant or weird, who knows. I did see in the first article that Brian Scalabrine had been reassigned by Golden State for falling out with other coaches. Wonder if he recommended Erman to Danny Ainge. The Ginger Mafia code.

The Ginger Mafia code

I see what you did right there.

All that's left here is for Sergio Ramos or Pepe to run over Pep Guardiola's dog.

Pepe would run over Pep's dog, then dive out of his car onto the ground and get the dog booked.

Also, there has to be a defender in contact with the player with the ball. GI slipped out of the last tackle and wasn't "held" by a defender.

Ah, gotcha. Pro football rules. I was thinking college football rules. Thanks for the clarification guys.

Owly: your countrymen are shining in the IPL this year. That league is a ton of fun to watch.

Darren Erman hired by Boston Celtics as director of NBA scouting after messy end with Golden State Warriors

NBA scouting eh? I'm sure a recording device and skill at using it is a valuable asset in a scouting job.

Joey Crawford for the win!

Surprised he wasn't hired by the Patriots first.

Yeah, I'm thinking of bringing out a line of t-shirts with:

"Glenn Maxwell - Kew's Answer to Shahid Afridi"

on the front.
