So...this happened during the Tigers/Angels game today...

The Angels need to practice better fundamental baseball if they want to be taken out for ice cream after the game.

STATS says it was the first three-error play since 2007. THANKS OBAMA.

How the hell is the now-legendary play by the Astros not at least 3 errors?

Error #1: Collision gives the runner 1st base.
Error #2: Overthrow at 1st base gives the runner second base.
Error #3: Overthrow at home gives the runner home base and allows batter to go to third.

I know it worked out for Kinsler, but running home looks like a really poor decision that he got very lucky on.

grum: The recap of that game only refers to "a pair of throwing errors," so I guess the collision wasn't scored as an error for whatever reason.
