Maurice Jones-Drew Inks 3-Year Deal with Raiders: After eight seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Maurice Jones-Drew has signed a three-year deal with the Oakland Raiders. Jones-Drew is a three-time Pro Bowler who won the 2011 rushing title with 1,606 yards. He's 12 months shy of 30 and was given the ball 1,808 times by the Jags, raising the question of how much he has left in the tank. "I feel like I have a ton left in the tank," he said.
The Jaguars won four of their last eight, even without receivers Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts and offensive linemen Luke Joeckel and Eugene Monroe. The tear down new coach Gus Bradley and new GM Dave Caldwell undertook in 2013 has begun to show promise, and the team has another ridiculously high pick in this draft (the third overall).
It's easier to sell tickets now than it was in the final days of head coach Jack of the River and failed GM Gene Smith.

I think Jags fans have hope. They got a sixth rounder for Gabbert. They're huddled on the banks of the St. Johns saying to themselves: "Tom Brady was a sixth rounder..."

Quickly glancing at the Jaguars current roster, if they sell 10 season tickets, it should be considered a miracle. Instead of being considered for a possible move to LA, maybe they should ponder a move to the SEC.
