Florida State Crushes Clemson, 51-14: In what was billed as the biggest game in Atlantic Coast Conference history, fifth-ranked Florida State rolled over third-ranked Clemson 51-14, disappointing a packed house of 83,428 at Death Valley. Redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston threw for a career-high 444 yards and accounted for four touchdowns and FSU's defense completely stymied the Tigers, who last suffered a 40-point plus defeat in 1976.
Carrying on in the Curly Howard tradition, Lee Corso made his entrance to the pre-game show dressed as FSU's Chief Osceloa, complete with battle regalia. If Dan Snyder is forming an Untergang bunker group pledged to resist a Washington team name change at all cost, Corso would be a logical choice.

Bad night for Tigers -- at one point last night I flipped over from LSU losing on a FG to Victorino's GS to KO the Detroit nine and then went in search of a competitive sporting event only to stumble across Clemson getting stomped by FSU.
