Jags fans hold pro-Tebow rally. No one we know can be seen among the multitudes.

Surely they'd be better off trading for Josh Freeman, as it seems he isn't keen on staying in Tampa.

He's shown some talent in flashes and might do so in longer stretches in an environment where he didn't completely hate his job.

I'm sure Schiano would take Henne and a conditional draft pick, just to get him gone too, as he's not "Schiano's guy."

I leave for five minutes to take a bathroom break and they pick that time to shoot the group photo. Tebow dammit.

I like that even among his most diehard admirers in Jacksonville, the best argument to be mustered is "Why Not?"

Schiano and Belichick may have to get through the upcoming Rutgers Love Bowl before the Bucs can start working on moving Freeman.

Do you think the Jags would really be interested in Freeman?

He makes $8.5m this year, meaning they have to pay the pro-rated amount of that, plus picks, and they're most likely still not a playoff team. AND for it to make sense, they'd have to want to sign him to a long-term deal. I think you'd need more than 10 games to evaluate that given he's been so up and down, especially given he's going to have to come in to a new team and a new offence.

I see a short-term move for Freeman that includes much more than a late-round draft pick as a reactive move rather than proactive. Oakland paid a first- and second-round pick for 24 Carson Palmer starts and 1-2 seventh-round picks. Jacksonville ought to be stingy, as the number of QB-needy and payroll-able teams out there competing with them might only be Cleveland until the offseason.

Tebow dammit

With a child on the way, I'm planning to add this to my vocabulary.

The iPhone App store (in Canada at least) is blocking out the R-word.

Says it all, really.

He's also not going to sell a lot more tickets. Tebow at least still has that power (in Florida).

I'm not sure the "Josh Freeman Experiment" is rapidly coming to a close.
