Josh Hamilton Has 4-Homer Game in Baltimore: Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton hit four home runs Tuesday night against the Baltimore Orioles, going 5-for-5 with 8 RBI (the fifth hit was a double). Hamilton becomes the 16th player in big league history to hit four homers in a game and the first since Carlos Delgado in 2003.

One less RBI than Pujols has for the season (he's really been kicking ass since his first home run).

Josh also hit a homer in his final AB Monday night, giving him 5 HRs in his last 6 ABs.

Gotta love contract years.

A Yahoo headline let me know Hamilton had a chance to hit four, so I got to see it happen on MLB Network.

Think the Rangers made a bit of a mistake not inking him to a new deal in the offseason?

Considering he had fallen off the wagon during the off-season, I think it was prudent of the Rangers to take a wait-and-see attitude.

Also, they did blow a chunk of change on Darvish, so maybe they were told to hold off until the TV contract money comes rolling it. They'll have more than enough to sign him this off-season.

The Rangers won't let him go anywhere, especially if he's got a shot at the triple crown.
