Colts Make Quarterback Chandler Harnish Mister Irrelevant: This year's Mister Irrelevant, the celebrated final pick of the NFL Draft, is seventh round Indianapolis Colts draft pick Chandler Harnish, the quarterback for Northern Illinois. In recent years, the last pick has failed to live down to the honor. Four of the last five are still on NFL rosters and Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop, the 2009 pick, signed a $14 million, five-year contract in December.
I'm happy Moore got to Detroit. Stafford is not Mr. Durability. There may be some PT if Moore can prevail in camp and make the roster.
Tough for a lefty backup to excel in pre-season, with most of the wideouts not used to catching the throws and the OL pass blocking assignments having to be altered for however many series of snaps he'll get per game.
They shouldn't pay much notice to Moore's choirboy appearance. Stafford looks like a 16 yr. old himself.

With fewer rounds in the draft now versus years ago, the idea these final picks can be around a while isn't really surprising.
That stuff they do for the Mr. Irrelevant sounds like a great time, though. And I love that trophy.

This guy got drafted, and the Lions picked up Kellen Moore out of the dumpster out back?
