This is Pioli's first job as GM, you would think he would try to rein in the crazy until he is better established without being in the shadow of Belichik.

This story makes the Chiefs sound paranoid and oppressive, but a new guy coming in and firing so many people is going to create a lot of unhappy people. If the team was successful, I wonder how many of Pioli's quirks would be celebrated within that organization.

You can be weird only if you are winning. If there are some stories about the Detroit GM, Mayhew, cleaning house, people would say that it was necessary to get them on the winning track.
