St. Louis Rams Fire Head Coach, GM: After a 2-14 season that gives the team a second-overall draft pick this spring, the St. Louis Rams have fired head coach Steve Spagnuolo and general manager Billy Devaney. Spagnuolo was 10-38 in three seasons and Devaney was the top executive for four.
The Occupy Ed Jones Dome throngs gathered outside in the cold are huddled together and comforting themselves today with free hot coffee and the cozy news that Mike Martz was just let go by the Bears.

Not shocked, but the Rams were decimated by injuries this season, right out of camp. Their defensive backfield was down seven players in September, and Bradford's injury-riddled season didn't help anything either. They finished the season with Tom Brandstater at quarterback, for god's sake!
Spagnuolo won't be unemployed long, though. He may be one of those coaches better suited as a coordinator than as a head coach.
