Lamont Peterson, who was a major underdog, pulled off a huge upset in boxing over the weekend over Amir Khan.

Another Freddie Roach trained fighter doesn't get it done. Pacquiao's win over Marquez was very controversial.

The way the NBA is handling the Chris Paul situation is appalling. Then again, I'm sure the franchise will be at its peak value when Paul leaves as a free agent at the end of the season, leaving the Hornets with nothing to show for it.

That was a weird fight, mainly down to the inexperienced referee, not for the two one-point deductions, which Khan was stupid to incur, having been warned, but for never shutting the fuck up from the opening bell. I'm not taking anything away from Peterson, who got battered in the first round and fought like a champion to the end, and I don't think much of Khan's conspiracy theories, but I remain unconvinced that the ref wasn't grabbed off the street for a reality show.

Yeah, that ref was terrible. You never see point deductions for pushing either, even though technically it's against the rules. He did warn Khan multiple times though, and he kept doing it so I don't really feel sorry for him.

Steve Kerr agrees. I'm a little surprised that this isn't a 200 comment story. I guess I have to carry most of Spofi's anger burden on this one.

No, for me you and deadspin pretty much covered everything I had to say on the matter. Try to remember it's a good thing we don't get a million "Me two!" comments.

Well, when I get angry enough I just find the best comment and rearrange a few of the words.

I rearrange words well when I get angry; I find just the best enough comment to do it.
