While it was a win, it was a pretty weak field of only 18 players, with many of the top players not involved.
Still, Tiger did have to play consistent golf to get the win, something he's struggled to do lately.

The win, albeit it a weak one, will at least boost his confidence in himself and his game somewhat. That and his consistency in hitting decent shots at Chevron should boost his mental game. That's been his biggest foe, translating into poor shooting.

At least for now. But we did have quite a scare today.

Yeah, I'd like to see Tiger win with a bigger field than this before I want to say he's truly back, but this IS something he can build on and take into next season.
