Tiger Woods, oh thank Glob. I thought you were talking about Favre for a minute.

While it was a win, it was a pretty weak field of only 18 players, with many of the top players not involved.

Still, Tiger did have to play consistent golf to get the win, something he's struggled to do lately.

The win, albeit it a weak one, will at least boost his confidence in himself and his game somewhat. That and his consistency in hitting decent shots at Chevron should boost his mental game. That's been his biggest foe, translating into poor shooting.

Rock Steady totally nailed exactly what went through my mind when I saw the post title.

I think we can finally say we will see no more Favre watch in Hattiesburg.

At least for now. But we did have quite a scare today.

Yeah, I'd like to see Tiger win with a bigger field than this before I want to say he's truly back, but this IS something he can build on and take into next season.

Time to separate private lives from innate abilities. Best of luck to TW. And yes, we've all seen enough of Favre!
