I wonder how many of the members at Ballyclare Golf Club sent letters to council complaining about Gareth Maybin standing on the snooker table. He's a cracking player. He could yet break into the big time and add yet another Northern Irish player in the upper echelons of the game.
I was ahead of my time, damnit. I missed the golden generation.
Except it's not a team game. And Clarke's older than me. And I'm still playing and I'm not very good. Apart from all those things, I coulda bin a contender!
