Twitter just recommended to me that I'm similar to Steve Nash. I take this as a sign I'm living right.

The SMU kicker needs to transfer to Georgia Tech. That thing was a ramblin' wreck.

As a Blue Jays fan, everything I see about Brett Lawrie makes me very, very happy. I'm not sure how long he can remain that enthusiastic, but it's a blast to watch.

I think I'm pretty well on the record for being against penalties for celebrations (or whatever category fits this case) in football. However, if what this player did violated the rule, the motivation for it should have no impact on whether or not there is a penalty called. It is not the referees' job to take context into account when deciding whether or not to throw a flag. If outrage over this gets the rule overturned, however, I'm fine with that.

Ouch- one hitter, just a double to lead off the eighth. Hell of an effort.

I'm about as superstitious as anyone regarding stuff like that, but the Minnesota broadcast crew had used the P word about 45 times, had shown statistics and mentioned other no-hitters regularly since about the 4th inning. I don't think it was me who cursed it last night.

My WTFLOL moment of the morning: I thought Drood was reacting to tommytrump's "Chris Woodward" link.
