Plaxico Burress Released from Prison: Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was released from prison on Monday after spending nearly two years behind bars for shooting himself in the thigh. He pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in 2009 over carrying the unlicensed handgun in New York. Now 34, Burress has drawn interest from the Philadelphia Eagles and other teams.

I hope he is able to continue his career in the NFL. The lock-out might work for him. He has time to spend with his family, and get himself into shape.

Will be interesting to see what kind of shape Burress is in. Poor timing for him on this, as it was just after signing a nice contract. Now he's a couple of years older, and if there is a lock out, three years are gone. I hope he gets a shot, I mean a chance, at playing again.

As an Eagles' fan, I'd feel better if he was about 30. His age might scare off more teams than the two years' away. Vick was much younger when he came out.

Drew Rosenhouse is a douche. I would fire him after that display yesterday.
