Indians Continue Surprising Start: The Cleveland Indians won their eighth home game in a row, a 9-4 victory over the Kansas City Royals that keeps them atop the AL Central with a league-best 14-8 record. "Tribe starting pitching has been nothing short of fantastic. Relief pitching has been lights out," writes Chuck Yarborough of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. "Nobody -- NOBODY -- expected this."

No comments thus far - this feels like Cleveland baseball in the old days.

So, in the name of the average 6,000 people who used to attend home games at 80,000 capacity Municipal Stadium, here is one solitary upper deck drum beat.

I think no one is commenting because it's a bit early to be making a big deal about this.

Toronto was 15-7 at this point in 2009.
Arizona was 19-7 at this point in 2008.
Cincinnati was 16-7 at this point in 2006.

None of those teams made the playoffs that year.
