Worm's turn for Hall: Known for his wild wardrobe and bizarre behavior during his playing days, Dennis Rodman didn't disappoint at the Naismith Hall of Fame ceremony.
Wearing Gucci shades, a fitted cap, a leopard scarf and designer jeans, Rodman joined Chris Mullin, Tom "Satch" Sanders, Artis Gilmore– who were all wearing suits – as the headliners for the 2011 Hall of Fame Class, who were announced at the Crown Plaza Hotel

I am so glad that Artis Gilmore is finally going in. I think a lot of people assumed he was already in (I've even heard announcers call him the hall of famer Artis Gilmore--not that announcers are all that bright).

Rebounding and defense; he was a paradoxical player, in that he was a coach's dream and nightmare all at the same time.

Included as a "contributor", but worthy of induction in many aspects was Tom 'Satch' Sanders. He was the guy who did the grunt work on the great Celtics teams of the '60s. I remember him well as number 16, the guy who shut down the other team's scorer and set the picks for the offense. He never got enough credit, outside of Celtics' fans, for his game. Bob Ryan does his usual craftsman like job in describing Sanders' contributions to the Celtics and contrasting him to Dennis Rodman.

Say what you want about the man, but he could go get the boards. He was a real big part of those Bulls championships too.
