New Sport: Extreme Sitting: Two brothers in Germany have invented the street sport of Hockern, also known as "extreme sitting," in which you perform tricks with a special stool called a sporthocker priced at $135. Wired explains, "Each and every maneuver seems like it's not actually considered a legit move unless it ends with a sit-down. ... It's the German street equivalent of sticking the landing in Olympic gymnastics or figure skating."
Danny MacAskill puts these earthbound snake oil hodads to shame.
But they're still way more athletic than I am. I only practice the static version of extreme sitting.
But my porcelain fixture didn't cost much more than what these guys are hawking their doodad for, AND it can be used for other more important things like calling for Hughie or paying tribute to the place where Wilt scored his 100 points.

My wife says I'd be a world champion at this, since I've done nothing but sit on my ass since I retired. I disagree. After all, I've kept my fingers in great shape writing things like this on SpoFi.

Well it will only be a matter of time before the extreme sitters unionize and demand better health care as most of them wind up with health disorders latter in life. Imagine a career that leaves you crippled with hemorrhoids, or butt sores. Soon they will demand a shorter season schedule. Man this is a brutal sport.
