Polamalu Tops Matthews for Defensive Player of Year: Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has won the Associated Press 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, edging Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews.

Couldn't/Wouldn't have really argued the race between these two regardless of how it turned out. Two solid players who had really good years. The fact they're both in the Super Bowl is pretty cool, too.
