No need to worry about Lamar Odom over the holidays.

He's full of yuletide cheer, finding himself surrounded with happy people living balanced, fulfilling lives spent in service to humanity.

The WEC had its last event last night before being folded into the UFC.

In the last minute of the last round of the WEC, this happened :

Benson Henderson, the guy who ate the kick, said "I saw the move in Mortal Kombat once."

Washington have announced that they'll be starting Rex Grossman this weekend.

I presume Donovan will be taking his weird contract extension and going elsewhere next year now.

Is Mike Shanahan starting to look crazy? Like Childress-style crazy?

Washington have announced

McNabb has always appeared like a guy with unbelievable skills paired with a lack of commitment / concentration. One minute he's dead on the money on a 50 yard deep route, the next drilling a ball into the dirt 5 yards in front of a wide open 10 yard screen or hook.

Still, take McNabb's worst performance ever and it trumps Grossman's best. Shanahan needs to realize that his job is getting the best out of his team, and that constantly criticizing players and making idiotic moves and statements to justify his "vision" of the game will only result in unemployment.

Dallas -7 at home against Grossman and a group of disgruntled Redskins ... there's never been a better lock.

It worked out so well for the Redskins last time they played Rex Grossman.

Wha? Why would you even think of trying that?

Be great to see the Redskins extend Shanahan's contract, just to make sure the madness marches on. If Snyder has to continue being the owner, it would be a shame to see the franchise chew up some younger, more promising coaches as human sacrifices.

The look in Shanahan's eyes is getting closer and closer to Captain Queeg territory with each passing week.

Tiger Woods hasn't spoken to his half-siblings since their dad's funeral four years ago.

There's a tremendous situation developing at the WACA. Day three is about to get under way.

There are five Tests spread over two months, but at the moment it seems that every ball counts, and everything is in the balance.
