Clippers Owner Taunts Baron Davis During Games: Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling regularly taunts his underperforming star player Baron Davis from his courtside seat during games, saying things like "Why are you in the game?" and "You're out of shape!" Davis, who has three years and $42 million left on his contract, had this response when asked about the comments: "There's nothing I can say. I have no comment on that. You just get to this point where it's a fight every day. It's frustrating because I know and my teammates know I'm capable of getting it done."

I bet Baron Davis gets a little extra satisfaction every time Sterling's name is on his million dollar paycheck.

Fans should sit around Sterling and yell things like:
"Wasted a lot of money this year, didn't you?"
"Why'd you hire that guy?"
"What gives you the right to wear that shit eating grin?"
"You made the problem, you clean it up, ass clown!"
Owners deserve a certain amount of heckling when their team bites.

"Yo Sterling, what's wrong with Tokowitz?"

Sterling is a slumlord asshole who deserves nothing but contempt (this is a guy who allegedly bought a whole four storey office building so he wouldn't have to ride up the elevator with people he didn't know) - but he's right about Baron. He's a lazy, lazy player.
Quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide.
...But sometimes there's a man, sometimes, there's a man.

Sterling sounds like basketball's answer to George Steinbrenner (as far as his very public and blunt "critique" of his employees is concerned--no other comparisons intended).

He can't fire the bum, so might as well get some satisfaction for his money. It's mean spirited perhaps, but no worse than a guy being paid primo bucks who isn't earning them.

Worst owners in sports: Peter Angelos vs Donald Sterling. Discuss.
(actually, there could be a great tournament about this).

Dan Snyder would surely have a high seed in that bracket, Bonkers. I grew up rooting for the O's and the 'Skins; no wonder I watch so much soccer.

But neither Angelos nor Snyder seems like an actively evil human being. I don't like them, but their sin seems to be one of having more passion than brains and the assumption that they are brilliant in any field they chose to enter.
Sterling is a slumlord, racist and now apparently so classless he heckles his own employees. And isn't even funny when doing it. He lives in LA: how many out-of-work sitcom writers could he have for a song to write his quips?

Sorry, Mike Brown is the worst owner in all of sports.

I can't believe that. Why would any free agent ever go to that team again?
