Pro Rugby Player Admits 'Simulating' Dog Sex: Joel Monaghan, a Rugby League player with Australia's Canberra Raiders, has admitted that he's the player in an Internet-published photo engaged in a sex act with a dog. "Joel wants to make it clear that he was the one playing a prank on an absent team mate by simulating the act," his manager Jim Banaghan said. "It was a moment of abject stupidity brought about by too much drink and a complete lack of any thought process." The photo is described (but not shown) by the gossip site Jumping Anaconda.

Oh man. Well someone has to, so here's a SFW version of the picture which gives the flavour of why Monaghan may be sacked.

How exactly is this a prank on someone else? This sounds like a South Park episode from a couple years ago.

Deadspin has all the pics... If you're into that sort of thing.

This is going to be taken out of context, I think.

Ahem. Monaghan is a Rugby League player. Rugby Union (or just 'Rugby') and Rugby League are different sports.

There's also another difference. A Rugby Union player would have used a pedigreed dog.

Corrected.

It's hard to imagine any context that would make this better.

What if it was your dog?

A Rugby Union player would have used a pedigreed dog.

+1. Day maker.

Approximation of a scene from one of the Peter Sellers' Pink Panther films:

Pardon me, sir, does your dog bite? ... (After dog attacks) My dog does not bite, but that's not my dog.

Perhaps "get down, Rover" has a different meaning?
