Ronaldo Targeted by Laser Again: Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was targeted by a laser during the goalless King's Cup draw at Nueva Condomina stadium against Murcia, an incident photographed by the Spanish sports paper Marca. Lasers have been pointed at Ronaldo by fans at Barcelona's Nou Camp, Marseille's Stade Velodrome and Lyon's Stade Gerland.
What is the capability of those things? Are they going for his eyesight and can they damage it? Or is it more evil prank than deadly weaponry?
Security has to be able to catch those people when this happens.

That's no laser - that's the first stage of his conversion into the Hulk, isn't it?

It's just the guiding lasers from the orbital defence platform commissioned to take his diving ass out.

My son bought a handheld laser from a seller on the beach at Koh Samui a few weeks ago.* I subsequently noticed that every plane coming in to land over Chaweng Beach at night got lit up by dozens of green lasers. It must be hell for the pilots.
The laser was also a big hit at the international school Halloween dance this week, but now my son's pissed off because he found out that Customs confiscate them on entry to Australia. Mainly for the reasons outlined above to do with aircraft. So no showing off to his Oz friends.
*Yeah, life's tough.
