MLB Post-Season Pick 'Em, World Series Edition: So it's yet another year in which the big-money, big-market teams slug it out in a star-studded, payroll-dominated, Tim McCarver-loving—wait, what?

Day by day and almost minute by minute the past was brought up to date. In this way every prediction made by the Party could be shown by documentary evidence to have been correct; nor was any item of news, or any expression of opinion, which conflicted with the needs of the moment, ever allowed to remain on record. All history was a palimpsest, scraped clean and reinscribed exactly as often as was necessary.

Well the pressure is on now.
Texas in 6
Cliff Lee (I'd love to choose Nelson Cruz here but I think Leemania is too strong to overcome)

San Francisco in 7: A shade more pitching, equality in hitting, and the NL advantage of having pitchers hit in 4 games.
Despite being on the losing team, series MVP Josh Hamilton has an incredible performance both at the plate and in the field.
Home runs per game: A scientifically-based completely reasonable wild-assed guess says 3.
Time of game: I'm guessing 3:51. Expect longer games due to frequent calls to the bullpen and the longer between innings times to accommodate the TV people.
The Phillies let me down, and Texas was better than expected, but it's the last inning and we're still within striking distance of the leader. Let's see how it goes.

An integer is a significant component of game score. It can be determined for any given player by the following formula:
INTEGER = (BA + AB) * (OPS - OBP - SLG) / (ERA + WHIP + PA) * 1000

Yeah, like Buster Posey is a real name.
What? Oh.

No one picked Renteria as MVP. That's a shocker.

Rangers win! Giants win! AL ERA crown goes to Cliff Lee! NL ERA crown goes to... Matt Cain? Oops.
Please double-check your picks to make sure they weren't intentionally walked by Joe Girardi.
