Alabama Rolls Over Florida in 31-6 Win: Before a crowd of 101,821 in Tuscaloosa, the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide crushed the No. 7 Florida Gators 31-6 Saturday. Alabama scored on its first four drives to build a 24-0 halftime lead and its top-ranked scoring defense held Florida to two field goals. "Might as well fast forward to Jan. 10 in Glendale, Ariz," writes Dennis Dodds of CBS Sports. "I know one team that's going to be there."
I loved that Tim Tebow style jump pass into the end zone that went right into the hands of the Alabama defender. The cut away shot to the Florida coach had me hoping they had an ambulance ready on the sideline reserved just for him.
