Bad weekend for Florida State and alum...just ask Alex Barron.

That last Barron hold could have been seen from space.

If Barron didn't hold him, then Romo would have been sacked or pressured to throw too quickly. The only way Romo was able to do his elude and pass maneuver was because of the hold. Collinsworth seemed to think that the hold was the worst thing ever, but the game would have ended the exact same way without the hold. Romo just would have eaten turf.

I think Romo still had a shot without the hold. Like that big ol' kid Brett Favre, he has a flair for the ridiculous.

what if Barren didnt hold him? Maybe Baron shouldnt have gotten waxed in the first place. Its ridiculous to give Barron any credit at all. Orakpo kicked his ass all day.

That's the game. Sometimes you are matched on a player better than you. If he was getting beat all day, the coach should have made an adjustment.

The NHL today fined the Devils $3 million, and took their 3rd round pick in the 2011 draft as punishment for the original Kovalchuk contract. The Devils also have to surrender their 1st round pick in one of the next four years, though the Devils get to decide which year...

bperk, unfortunately, if the Cowboys are forced to play the human pylon that is Alex Barron, I don't think they have any other options. He was awful last season with the Rams and Dallas is still using him.

That's hysterical. He actually ducked.

The Jaguars looked good against Tim Tebow's team. I picked the right game to stay home. It was the hottest home game in Jaguars history and a late thunderstorm interrupted the game 30 minutes due to lightning.
They had three sacks after getting only 14 last season. One was by Tyson Alualu, the defensive lineman the Jags took when the entire city wanted them to take Tebow.
