F1 Driver Mark Webber: How I Got My Body: In an ongoing Guardian feature called How I Got My Body, F1 driver Mark Webber describes the physical demands of his sport. Here's how he got his worst scar: "A plug popped off one of the pipes in the cockpit, and the heat basically blowtorched through my fireproofs, through my underwear, and peeled back the skin on my hip. It happened early on in the race and I told my team I was thinking about retiring."

I love that they have a darts player on there and that he then goes on to (mostly) confound expectations.

Body building cannot be done overnight. It is a long, drawn out process, requiring dedication, perseverance, and great desire. I know these things because I have dedicated my long life to building my body. The results speak for themselves, and the accumulation of good food, beer, wine and the like has produced a beer gut worthy of admiration.

Though our seats are perfectly tailored to our arses, the whole pelvis area gets very achey

Same effect occurs in my media room almost every night.

Mr. Bismark, thanks for pointing out the dart player. I love how he compares his walking about 2 1/2 kilometers a day to what a professional soccer player does on the field. Yeah, all that walking from the line to the board can tire a guy out, especially if you're carrying your pint with you.

And now that they have to go outside to smoke, the mileage will really start to accumulate.

I love how he seems proud that he managed to play a tournament totally sober once, and didn't do too badly!
