An entire soap opera plays out in a mile.: (via MeFi)
Can you please describe the video? I have satellite Internet with bandwidth limitations and the link title doesn't tell me how this is sport-related, what sport, etc. It is simply listed under "other." kthx

It's a horse race from Mommouth Park that comes down to two horses, one called My Wife Knows Everything and another named The Wife Doesn't Know. Track announcer Larry Collmus provides the humorous call.

That was great. It's too bad Shut Your Piehole Wife was a late scratch.

Question on naming race horses...NoMich's link states that names are limited to no more than 18 characters, however My Wife Knows Everything is 21?
Did the rule change at some point?

This was on SportsCenter's not top ten today. Looks like SportsFilter has the leg up.

Just to set the record straight, I first saw a clip of the stretch call on Fox News (of all places) on Tuesday, and I posted a comment about it to the Tuesday Huddle that night. Looks like Fox News has the leg up on us.
To be sure, I've been laughing about the race call all week.
