Lee Corso: Tebow Will Be Starting by Week 6: "I think [Tim] Tebow, by the sixth game, will be the quarterback. It will take some time for him to get in do a few things, make a mistake or two and learn from his mistakes. I think he's going to be a good quarterback." -- ESPN college football analyst Lee Corso

I think he should let Tebow play a few preseason snaps before this prediction. With Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn ahead of him, its going to be hard for him to start ahead of those guys. But I've never took Corso seriously with his predictions or picks.

If tebow is the starter by week 6,he will be out for the season by week 8.For this guy to jump past two other talented qbs, they will have to have been knocked out for the season. If they were knocked out that means they have a terrible offensive line, and what makes you think tebow can outrun blitzing linebackers and stunting tackles?I like lee corso but that is one of the stupidist predictions I ever heard.

When it becomes obvious the Broncos are going nowhere shortly into the upcoming season, I do believe Tebow will see a fair amount of snaps. But the team has so many offensive question marks (and shortcomings), I don't think either he or Quinn will do anything much.

All I can say is that I'd like to able to get some of what Corso has been smoking. I'm a Tebow fan but a realist who isn't smoking.

I think Corso's crazy. Tebow needs a lot of work to be capable of starting in the NFL. If he's rushed to service it could show that the Broncos made a dumb pick.

I'm really can't think of any circumstances where this is a good thing. Either the offense has gone completely in the tank, or both Orton and Quinn are hurt, or McDaniels is throwing Tebow to the wolves as a desperation move.

I'm imagining something like rookie Vince Young-lite playing for last year's Chiefs. Ugly.

Here's betting Tebow has a much better career than Bradford.

I agree with Corso, I was not much of a Tebow fan but after watchiing his performance against the Bengals I must say he looked great.

Orton is not ever going to be the guy, Quin looked terrible and Tebow looks like a winner. He threw some great passes that were dropped by the back up receivers but when the Denver coaches watch the film. They are going to realize just what they have in Tebow and they will eventually start him. Especially when Orton does his usual nothing.
