I've never watched a reality show, but I'd be interested to see what Jimmeh looks like after two weeks without access to any hair care products.

"Survivor" is to wilderness survival as a picture of a housecat is to a real live lion.

Not really. The better analogy is:

"Survivor":wilderness survival::feral house cat:wild lion

You aren't going to die during "Survivor", but the chance for injury/illness is pretty high. Plus, the damage of the sun/bug bites/malnutrition/lack of sleep can mess someone up pretty badly.
