A little tidbit for the Pens/Habs game 7 to chew on...
Since their inception, the Canadiens have not gone an entire decade (ex: 70s, 80s, 90s) without winning at least one Stanley Cup. If you subscribe to the school of thought that decades end in the ---0 years (they do), this year is the last of the 00s, and their last chance to win one in this decade...

"For now" buys the NHL another year to determine where the Coyotes will end up.
Glendale has dug itself even deeper into debt with absolutely nothing indicating the trend will change.

With the way the Cavaliers performed last night, that guy was probably asking to go back to jail.

It's interesting how that "time between Stanley Cups" thing has evolved. I was always told it was every 7 years, which worked perfectly from 1943 to 1993.
Then the fans started stretching the number of years to cover for the weak period (1993-2003).
"Eight!"
"Err..Nine!"
"Umm...Ten!"
Then it was "Every decade! 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s..."
But that didn't work because they wouldn't have one for the 00s.
So now it's the current iteration of deciding when a decade ends.

You totally beat me too this joke.
Still, nice of them to offer him the ticket. They had no idea the Cavs weren't going to bother to show up.

Depends on if they have papers to show local law enforcement.

Oh, that wasn't my intention. There are many Habs fans in my company (head office in Montreal) and I've known them for 15 years. Over that time, they've made a point of bring up the "it's been X years since Toronto won, but Montreal wins every Y years."
The value for X and Y have been steadily increasing since 2000, and I've reminded them of it every time they try to bring it up.
