The Agony: Of Being Greinke

You have to wonder if the kid was suffering from depression back in the day or he just saw his future. One of the few pitchers I make an effort to watch, no matter who he's facing.

As a lifelong Royals fan, it kills me every time he pitches a brilliant game, only to have no run support or have the bullpen blow it. Good article, Posnanski should be on ESPN.

It's like watching Roy Halladay all over again (including the early career meltdown).

Watching Greinke is like seeing Rembrandt create a masterpiece, and then, just before he gets a chance to sign it, having a cartoonist come in and paint over it. Ugh! When is he due to become a free agent? If there is any justice, he will end up on a consistently winning team and finally be recognized for his excellence.

Lifelong Royals fans here. I love Greinke, & when i heard rumors of the Royals trading him this offseason I vowed to drop the team for good.

If this season keeps going like it does for Greinke, I actually might defect from KC if they DONT trade him. I hate seeing a career go to waste, he deserves better.
