Jose Guillen's Offseason Surgery Life-Threatening: Kansas City Royals designated hitter Jose Guillen said that he nearly died in the offseason because of complications from surgery. "I almost died last year from blood clots in my legs," he told the Kansas City Star. "The doctor started talking about dying. I didn't even know what a blood clot was."

Holy shit, that is frightening. Someone ban this joker, he's clearly a spammer.

I just have this mental image of Guillen doing the interview and getting stuck mid-word, repeating a sound over and over again, like a faulty DVD player.

(In case this gets fixed up later, the original post from our rcade contained a bizarre bug where two characters were repeated approximately 1000 times.)
