Snow is blowing up the English sport calender, four EPL games off this weekend and many more in other divisions and leagues. Arsene 'the Wanger' Wenger says the entire Premiership game day ought to be cancelled since teams may not have the same motivations/players when the games are made up.
Despite thinking very lowly of him generally ;) these days I agree. What say the rest of you?

Five now, with Hull/Chelsea being called off as well. Who gives a care about the motivations of teams later in the season; this should be called off to retain the sanctity of fantasy football! Kidding aside, I agree with Wenger.

Jim Mora of the Seahawks was fired today, and there is significant buzz about Pete Carroll being the man lined up for the job.

Also, Landon Donovan is talking nice about David Beckham. Probably in hopes to avoid the tab for the next Galaxy team dinner.

It seems weird to me to cancel a game simply because other games have been cancelled on account of weather conditions. How is it a concern that motivations and players may be different later on?

I feel a great desire to visit a Taco Bell and order a discount burrito.
Don't bother if you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area...I've checked them all, those workers are not to be found.

Hope springs eternal!! It sounds more and more like the Seahawks are going to hand PC the keys and give him Holmgrem-like control. Well, like they gave Holmgren when he first went to Seattle. Is this a good or bad thing? I know UW is pleased.

rcade: I was paraphrasing Wenger but I do agree. There's a certain positive aspect, having trouble verbalizing what I'm thinking here, about the match day concept and having to reschedule half the games seems a sufficient blow to it that rescheduling all appeals to me.

The lingering effect of having hung in to the best of my ability throughout the unending 2009-2010 college football Bowlarama:
