Boise State win the Rodney Dangerfield Bowl, beat the odds-makers, and Gene Wojciechowski whines about it, apparently buying into the cartel-preserving rationale for matching up the non-BCS-conference undefeateds.

Yes, well, that aside, Boise State is fast becoming the team to watch in a bowl game. It was a good game and featured another successful trick play (terrific fake punt) which led to the game winning score.

The game started out pretty rough, but that fourth quarter was great. Boise State took a huge risk with that fake punt, and once again the trick play worked for them. 14-0 is an amazing achievement, non-BCS or not.

Team USA an unconventional success story: It's become fashionable for Canadians to suggest hockey has failed as a sport in the southern United States.

Boise State Smoise State. 14-0? They barely beat a non-bcs team by 7 in their bowl game. They'll never be big time.

Great article, tommy. We're now starting to see kids from Raleigh attending prep schools up north to further hone their hockey skills. One of them is playing at the same prep school in MN that Sidney Crosby went to. A friend of mine from my Mt. Pleasant, MI days used to work for the Saginaw Spirits, but lives down here now. The Spirits call him from time to time to have him scout kids in this area. Apparently one of the things they want him to check out is how the kid's mom is built. Is she large-framed as well? Pretty interesting stuff.

And Texas required an overturned play at the end of regulation to beat a one-man team while Alabama needed two blocked field goals in one game to win against a mediocre team, so phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht

Their football program is much more big time successful than any in Michigan recently.

The return of NBA Jam.

I would also like to see the return of NFL Blitz and 2-on-2 Open Ice Challenge.
I would also like to be 21 years old again, live near an arcade, but still make the same money I do now.
