A man is driving past a farm in Alberta and he sees a sign saying "For Sale: Talking Dog - Only $10". Montreal by 12. He goes in, sees an old retriever who says "Hello". "Wow", the man says, "You can really talk. What are you doing here?" The dog replies "I'm retired. I used to be a spy for the CIA. Because nobody believed a dog could talk, I was used to eavesdrop on conversations during covert ops." Calgary by 7. "Later I was used as an undercover agent by the FBI and DEA." The man says"That's amazing. How come your owner wants to sell you for only 10 bucks?" Edmonton by 17. At that moment the farmer comes around the corner. He says "I'm selling him because he's an inveterate liar. None of that stuff he says is true." Winnipeg by 5.

Hamilton is having a real turnaround season from their past few, but Montreal is the better team in this one. The Tabbies will make them earn it though. I'll take Montreal by 3.
Wally's got his wins (albeit controversial ones this season), and Calgary's got some motivation after droppin' one to the 'cats last week. I haven't been able to follow too closely, but I think the Lions' QB situation is a bit suspect at the moment. They "can" be dangerous, but not as deadly as Burris & Co. Where the Grey Cup will be played, the Stamps are gonna want to look good ... Calgary by 13.
Oh, boy ... 50,000+ already sold for the game on Saturday at Commonwealth. But Rider Priders can bring all the Green they want ... EE are still GOLD! Both teams are gonna want to eliminate some of those little mistakes that were costly ... so it'll be another classic at Commonwealth: Double E by 4.
Winnipeg sucks. Plain and simple. Toronto sucks too, just not as bad as Winnipeg. In the Battle of the Basement, I'll take the Argos by 10.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

owlhouse, if we were giving bonus points during the regular season picks, I'd want you to get bonus points for that one! "Cuz he's a liar!" That sh!+ is funny!

owlhouse, I told the story about the dog to my wife. She just sat there with a blank expression on her face. I guess she knows nothing about the CFL (or she knew the dog, I'm not sure which).

Hamilton overcomes an early turnover-fueled deficit to take care of business at home, while Toronto can't come back from a tough start out west. It's business as usual for Montreal, but Edmonton gives us a thrilling come-from-behind win in Saskatchewan.
Big movement this week. rahilsuleman and j5v nail spreads on their way to 6 and 5 point weeks respectively, but apoch nails his own to maintain the lead.
It looks like our scoreboard isn't finished juggling yet. I'm seeing more coin tosses this week than at a referees' after party.
WEEK 13
Montreal @ Hamilton (Friday, September 25) While Montreal is 9-2, they have been looking just a little tired lately. Is Hamilton hot enough to knock them off?
B.C. @ Calgary (Friday, September 25) Calgary's gotta get the edge at home, but maybe not by much. The post-bye B.C. Lions have looked pretty good.
Saskatchewan @ Edmonton (Saturday, September 26) Edmonton will be looking to sweep the home and home, and the betting lines probably will be too.
Toronto @ Winnipeg (Saturday, September 26) Back-to-back wins have been tough to come by in Toronto, but who better to try it against than Winnipeg?
Good luck!
