Novak Djokovic Impersonates John McEnroe at U.S. Open: After his fourth round victory at the U.S. Open, Novak Djokovic entertained the crowd with his impersonation of John McEnroe (see the video), which prompted McEnroe to come down from the broadcast booth and impersonate Djokovic as they played a few points. Two years ago, Djokovic did his versions of Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal.

This is what pro sports should be like! Fun and funny, neither of them getting bent out of shape at being the butt of a joke. Thanks for posting, made my morning.

I saw the very tail end of this last night on the 4-letter2 broadcast, and I had no idea what it was all about. Now that I've seen the whole thing, I quite understand. What a hoot! billsaysthis, you are exactly right that sports are about fun, entertainment, and good competition. I don't remember who said that your opponent is not your enemy, but it should always be that way in sport.

That was funny. I can't believe other tennis players take offense at his impressions. Kudos to McEnroe for helping Djokovic get the crowd love back.

I'm a tennis purist. There's no room in the sport for this kind of grandstanding bravado. Just play the match, shake hands, and march off the court like an automaton. Utterly disgusting...

I used to like McEnroe a lot as a tennis player but not much as a human being. Now that he's retired, I'm liking him a lot more as a human being than as a tennis player. I loved that he got way into the spirit of the thing, and in the process, showed he still knew his way around a racket.

Djokovic is hysterically funny. I think the famous locker room vid is even better than these.
