Tebow, McCoy, Bradford have Florida, Texas, Oklahoma 1-2-3: Who do you like?

Besides Oklahoma, how many Big 12 teams has florida played here lately? They may have held Oklahoma's offense to 14 points, but if I remember correctly OU held them to 24 when Florida was racking up 40 points plus on SEC teams. Point is, thats not a good indicator when a team stops another team in the big 12 and you assume that they could stop the rest of the other teams in the big 12.

Sgt, Florida only has to play one Big 12 team, assuming one reaches the BCS game along with the Gators.
However this is the Coaches Poll. Let's see what the writers do when the AP Poll is released tomorrow. Nothing against these three teams but this poll tends to be a bit more emotional (e.g., Wouldn't it be cool for the three returning Heisman nominees' teams to rank 1-2-3?)

Florida has the fewest question marks of the three going into the season so I don't really have a problem with these rankings. The loss of Percy Harvin will hurt UF more than a lot of people think BUT Texas has had to replace almost their entire front four on defense (and has no dependable TE) and OU had to replace four o-lineman, two WR's, and two starting safeties.
I agree....the coaches poll reaks of favortism and uninformed decision making (since coaches aren't capable of watching every single team and/or just have someone else fill out their ballots.) Every poll differs in some way, sometimes drastically. IIRC, the recent sports illustrated poll has Florida, USC, OU, UT in that order. Pre-season polls are just for bragging rights anyway.

Bragging rights and bulletin board fodder. The whole "Nobody believes in us!" nonsense that doesn't make much sense if you're ranked in the top ten nationally.

Florida, simply because their entire defense returns. They've proven they can stop those frothy Big Twelve offenses.
