Whatever Godell says ...: Donte Stallworth discussed his possible reinstatement into the NFL with Commissioner Roger Godell. While the tone of his statement sounded as though it came from a statement, Stallworth says he will accept whatever decision Godell decides.
Perhaps the NFL should have its own prison system and those teams can just play one another.

Yeah I think they'll have enough players to field an all-convict team

I wonder how many football players this decade have been convicted of felonies and are still on a roster somewhere? Does anyone have an idea?
Kind of ironic that the poster boy for trouble in the NFL, Pacman Jones, has never been convicted. Just a thought.
How many have been convicted of a felony at your place of business, probably not too many. But i guess thats what you get when your business won't hire convicts, they are trying to protect their product. In the NFL, the players are the product.

Was the misspelling of "Goodell" intentional? Or are you suggesting that he is considered (by himself or by others) the NFL's version of the "Voice of God", hence God-ell?
Not intended to be either a criticism of your spelling or a reaction to such a viewpoint, just seeking clarification.

It was inadvertent. I never thought of that, but it sure sounds good. He's no Rozelle, though!

I think we're on the verge of being able to roster an all-reinstatement team.
