Buy Steve McNair's House: The Nashville-area home of slain NFL quarterback Steve McNair, which has nine bedrooms, nine-and-a-half baths, a movie theater and three-car garage, was listed for sale at $3.8 million months before his death and can be viewed in great detail on a real estate site. If you can't use the Java applet, there are photos here.
And even with all that, he still had the need to own a condo with a psychopathic chick he wasn't married to, barely of legal age, who shot him as he lied passed out on a couch. It's strange how so many people, like me, with a small house and often-times barely enough money to get by are happier and better off than those who seemingly have it all.

The McNairs put a lot of work into that house. Every room looks like a showpiece. Though you never know what a marriage is like unless you're in it, the pictures make me wonder what compelled him to blow up that storybook life with a mistress.

For some reason, I'm thinking that the storybook life for a high-profile professional athlete includes a mistress or two. I'm guessing that most hope for the ones who don't turn out to be a wicked witch though.
Frankly, I think we need to allow for some moral relativism in these cases. "Normal" and "healthy" relationships are probably the hardest to find in marriages involving celebrity professional athletes and/or celebrities in general.

Really - who's shocked that a pro-athlete had a mistress. This was all par for the course... Right up until the murder-suicide, that is.
Am I alone in not really liking the look of that place? It looks like a row of townhouses. Nice interiors, though.

All this is getting Brady's full attention. He married a woman with her own private armed security detail.
And he married her more than once.
And he's probably got crazed Jets fans following him around dressed in old gray hoodies, videotaping everything he does.
He might as well hunker down with Hulu and call it a day. The only pole he'll ever see is at a barber shop.

It's nice and all, but I am looking for something a little bigger. At least 11 bedrooms, and ten-and-a-half baths.
